LEAD PASTORS
JOHNNY & APRIL HUNT
Pastor Johnny and April Hunt began serving as Lead Pastors of Celebration Church in February 2013. Their story of faith began as young adults, when they gave their lives to Christ during pre-marital counseling. From the very beginning, their desire was to pursue God’s call wherever it led. That journey took them to Springfield, Missouri, where Johnny attended Central Bible College to prepare for ministry.
Married since 1998, Johnny and April have built both a family and a ministry centered on Jesus. They are the proud parents of three children: Gavin, Lexie-Grace, and Gage. They deeply value creating a Christ-centered home while also shepherding the church family.
Together, they believe that faith and relationships go hand in hand. Their vision for Celebration Church is to lead people into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and to see lives transformed by His presence. With a heart for the Eastern Shore, they are committed to helping every person who walks through the doors of Celebration Church discover their purpose and play a role in God’s greater vision.
Pastor Johnny and April are passionate about preaching the Gospel with clarity, raising up leaders, strengthening families, and creating a church culture where people of all ages can experience the love and power of God. They believe the best days are ahead and that God has called Celebration Church to make an eternal impact locally, regionally, and globally.
